It’s a fun, friendly, non-gym environment where there’s no judgement & low fitness level participants are welcome.

Each session has basic boxing punches, combination punches and exercises using just your body.

You won’t learn to be a professional boxer (and we don’t train like professionals) but you will get to punch, learn some technical boxing skills, get a great work out, listen to some background music and have some fun.

Each session runs for approximately 60 minutes and all the equipment you need (boxing gloves, pads etc.) will be provided for you to use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it OK if I have never boxed before?

It’s fine if you’ve never boxed before. We will teach you the basic boxing punches and how to hold pads safely and effectively.

 

Can I come if I’m out of shape?

Yes! It is designed for beginner to intermediate fitness levels.

 

I’ve got an injury and/or overweight, can I still participate?

Yes! we offer alternative exercises if you’re injured or not capable of doing particular exercises due to your body size/weight.

 

I’m nervous about starting my first session, is that common?

It is common to be nervous, but once your first session is complete you should feel comfortable.

We have a friendly group of guys that will make you feel welcome and you’ll never get pushed past what you’re physically capable of; you can always have a rest during the session if you need to.

 

What should I bring?

We suggest bringing a water bottle and small towel for sweat. All the other equipment you’ll need is provided.

With Covid in mind, we recommend you bring your own hand sanitizer and a yoga mat (if you choose to do any exercises on the ground) for hygiene and comfort.

Trainer Details

My name is Mark Steenholdt, the founder of Look Good Feel Good Fitness. I’m excited to have Brandon (pictured below) as trainer for the Over 35’s mens boxing fitness sessions. Brandon has had amateur boxing matches, refereed boxing and is skilled at running boxing fitness classes.

Penrith Training Location

We have a great location for our boxing fitness sessions; York Public School (224 Evan Street, South Penrith NSW 2750).

Sessions run in an outdoor undercover area with lighting
